We understand that this minority group deserve greater care to help them bring back their self-esteem and ease to work. What We Stand For
Our Strategic Direction
The Waltson Wheelchair Foundation is grounded in the passion for lifting up people and their communities by improving personal mobility for those who lack the necessary resources or access. Through strategic partnerships with prominent, reliable destination-based humanitarian organisations, mobility aids are gifted to individuals with the greatest need across Africa. The World Health Organization identified wheelchairs as one of the most effective tools for assisting people with disabilities to become more productive members of their communities.
Develop Organisational Sustainability
Building an active Board of Directors/Advisory Council, expanding human resources and improving use and integration of technology.
Increase & Diversify Funding
Expanding relationships with private, public and corporate donors, developing key donor representatives and pursuing grant funding.
Promote Consistent Brand
Updating and improving our website, pursuing an active social media strategy and identifying and engaging WWF Advocates.
Enhance Stakeholder Engagement
Improving stakeholder communications, developing the volunteer programme and establishing a WWF Ambassador programme.
